Good Start by all with 4 wins & a wining draw , Congratulations to Lance Mckenzie for his 130 for the 2nds on Saturday .
Now down to the Nitty Gritty
Well folks that's all the pre-season warmup games done and dusted , 6 wins out of 7 .
33 players used . A buzz in the dressing (keep it up) , A nice start for overseas recruit Colin Birch , with a 50 not out and a wicket with his first ball , I hope you will all make him feel at home .
Exciting Finish
Sunday's double header produced an exciting finish in the A game with the outcome going down to the last ball with Swarky needing 3 to win with one wicket remaing , a leg bye thru to the keeper meant A&B won by 1 run . A good crowd and fantastic April weather contributing to an excellent day
Outdoor Season Kicks off with a Win
5 months to the day since we last played on the ground . The 2007 season starts off with a narrow win over Long Eaton . Keep up the good work , plenty of room for improvement especially in the bowling department were we look distinctly rusty .
Good Friday Afternoon
The club will be open Good Friday PM , still plenty of jobs to complete so the more the merrier . An hour or two's ground work followed by a net session .
