1st team fall short in High scoring Cup game against Mansfield Hosiery , highlights for A&B another ton for Gus & 70 for Azza.
3rd X1 lose to Spondon 3rds despite good knocks from Chris Hodgetts & Jamie Cowlishaw A&B's 207 for 9 proved to be an undemanding target for Spondon .
4th X1 battled out for losing draw chasing Sandiacres 194-7 A&B ended on 124-5 with Steve Glover 53no

What felt like the first decent days weather helped produce to great wins for the Club
With the 1st's away to Marehay
Marehay won the toss and decided to take first knock. As things turned out this was a mistake because Marehay were dismissed in 45.5 overs for a modest score. Gareth Buckley (35), Adrian Vickerage ((34 )and Ben King (35) were the main scorers, but the batting had been checked by the combined efforts of Campbell Ogilvie, Adris Azam, David Lewis and Tausef Ali Kasmi, all claiming two wickets apiece.Then when A&B took second knock Marehay had to cope with Anthony Woolley in great form. He was again asked to open the innings and he rewarded the faith put in him by carrying his bat for 115 not out and claiming victory with something to spare.
At home the 2nd X1 won the toss and posted a below par total of 143 all out in 45.1 overs .
Walton on Trent bowled and fielded exceptionally well with Chapman & Oomer both returning figures of 3 - 33 . For A&B only Si manager a significant score carrying his bat for an undefeated 61no. Walton never quite got to grips with the tight bowling from A&B's opening bowlers . After 17 overs they had lost 3 wickets for @ 30 runs . Chapman for Walton scored a quick fire 33 but when he was dismissed none of the other batsmen were able to get going and with Rick Crowther taking 5 -14 they were all out for 103

Only 4 senior fixtures this weekend with the 1st X1 away to Marhay & 2nd X1 Home to Walton on Trent on Saturday
On Sunday the 3rd X1 take on Spondon 3rd X1 & the 4tH x1 will be playing Sandiacre 4th X1 both these matches are at home .
U15's Complete miserable Cup week for the Club
The U15's lost to Darley Abbey away on another slow & low pitch , only managing 39-9 from their 20 overs . Darley scheived the target in 12 overs for the loss of 5 wickets .
That makes 6 Cup matches played in 5 days & 6 loses .
U13's winning streak comes to and end
Thursday 31st May saw the U13's lose their first match of the season in the re arranged Cup match against Mickleover .
Early exit from Butterley Cup for 2nd X1
The second X1 were well beaten by Shipley Hall 1st X1 in the Butterley Cup last night Shipley 164 -6 A&B 125 -7 . It could all have been so different if we had caught our catches .
A good allround performance from Rick Crowther with 1-16 from his 4 overs & 38 no with the bat .
